Recently, the FDA indirectly approved the commercial sale and public consumption of lab grown meat.
The images show the FDA's pre-market approval:
No meat is excluded from lab production including seafood, beef, pork, and chicken.
Lab grown meat is being marketed as "clean" meat, "100% cruelty free", "cultured meat", "synthetic" meat, "luxury".
Believer Meats, Upside Foods, Good Meat among others produce and sell lab grown meat. USDA has approved the consumption in restaurants, and the FDA has approved the mass commercial sale.
Impossible Foods produces plant based meats. The chief ingredient is soybean, which is bioengineered/GMO. The chief source of meat taste is heme, which is derived from "fermentation of genetically engineered yeast".
Apparently, lab grown meat includes antibiotics and antimicrobials in the production process, and the meat produces more greenhouse gases than comparable traditional, natural meat.
It is only a matter of time before restaurants, fast food, and grocery stores will be exclusively lab grown and plant based meats.
The FDA is unclear about the specifics of lab grown meat such as what actual ingredients ("nutrients and other factors") are added to the meat cells, and how the lab environment is "changed" to allow cells to assume muscle-specific characteristics.
How is genetically engineered and GMO plant based food and lab grown food better to consume nutritionally than naturally raised meat including free range and organic?
UN Agenda 2030 has sustainable development goal of eliminating hunger.
It is not inconceivable that the globalists will phase out traditional meats (similar to phasing out cash), leaving people no choice in what they consume. Obviously, the more independent and self-sufficient people are, the more control they will have over their lives.
