History Repeating Itself?
May 9, 1945 Soviet Union Victory over Nazi Germany.
27 million Soviets (Russians) sacrificed their lives to defeat Nazi Germany and its invasion of the Soviet Union via Operation Barbarossa.
Troubling, the current German Chancellor Scholz objects to the Victory Day Parade in Moscow, while German Leopard 2 tanks engage in the Ukraine Proxy War, reminiscent of Nazi Germany's attack on the Soviet Union. And the Pentagon announces $1.2 billion more lethal arms for the Ukraine Proxy regime. This regime has declared war on everything Russian including the Orthodox Church, while underlain by a far right nationalist ideology with lineage to Nazi Germany.
Prior to World War 2, there is evidence that US corporations were aiding the Hitler Regime. Today, the Unipolar West has been arming, training, funding Ukrainian neo-Nazis, and fermenting nationalist ideology in Ukraine.
Recently, the Ukrainian Intelligence Chief, Dmitry Peskov admitted to engaging in terrorism including terrorist attacks on Russian journalists, writers, and political scientists by declaring that Ukraine threatens to kill Russians anywhere:
“We’ve been killing Russians and we will keep killing Russians anywhere on the face of this world until the complete victory of Ukraine.”
Ukraine and its people are being sacrificed for the attempted preservation of US unipolar hegemony. This Proxy War will go down in history as a great tragedy for Ukraine and potentially the end of Ukraine.
Similar to how Western neocon/neoliberal sanctions against Russia have accelerated de-dollarization for the obvious reason that the US dollar and Western financial system has become weaponized, the Ukraine Proxy War like the occupation of Afghanistan shows the severe dangers of becoming a proxy of Western neocons/neoliberals.
The outcome of this Proxy War will determine not only the international order, but also the stability of the world through a bipolar split versus the tyranny of unipolar hegemony.
For the sake of peace and stability, unipolar hegemony and its one-sided arbitrary rules needs to be replaced with multipolarism.
